Nopo designs and manufactures pinhole cameras. Following an artisan process, made of walnut, cherry and birch wood, each camera is built with passion and patience. These cameras, bring us back to the origins of photography, offering us the possiblity of enjoying the process of making pictures as an alternative to the digital process.

First Sketches: Developing the concept
About the concept: I concentrated in the hole of the camera, which is the most important characteristic of a pinhole camera. It gave me the hint of roundness, which led me to balance, and to the act of setting the camera to make the picture.
About the formal solution: we needed a logo to apply in different supports, and it was specially important that it kept its characteristics and legibility in small sizes, since it had to be graved on the wooden camera.
